This week I had my first taste of, what I assume will one day be, “working mom guilt.” I had a particularly great week in the office: pitched a winning idea to a client, caught wind of some exciting new projects, and got the creative juices flowing in some inspiring brainstorming sessions. At home, however, I wasn’t as successful.
My fur baby turned one year old this past Monday, August 1st. While I’m not full-on crazy dog mom throwing legit birthday parties and hiring professional photographers, I didn’t want the day to go by unnoticed, either. It honestly feels like yesterday that we brought him home at 9 weeks old and 2.5 pounds, and he has quickly changed our lives for the better in so many ways. I wanted to use his birthday as an excuse to spoil him and say thank you for all of the happiness he has brought our little family.
